Meet The Doctor
Dr. Vassant Ramlaggan
Dr. Vasant Ramlaggan achieved his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 1995 from the State University of New York, School of Dental Medicine, a top 6 U.S. Dental School. He completed his Specialist Honours B.Sc. undergraduate degree in Microbiology and Human Biology at the University of Toronto.
Dr. Ramlaggan has 27 years of active experience and is well-versed and practiced in all aspects of dentistry. His areas of expertise include orthodontics with aligners and braces including non-surgical (no teeth removal necessary) orthodontic treatments, same-day implants, cosmetic treatment including crowns and veneers, TMD (jaw disorder) treatments, sleep apnea and snoring appliances, gum surgeries, fully impacted wisdom teeth removals, root canal treatments, and re-treatments. Dr. Ramlaggan has been using Twilight Dentistry (medicated relaxed dentistry) for over 15 years now to help his apprehensive patients.
Originally from Niagara Falls, Dr. Ramlaggan has spent most of his adult life in Toronto. He is happily married and enjoys spending time with his wife and three amazing children. In his free time, he practices Iyengar Yoga, reads, loves all things Sci-Fi, barbecuing, movies, and spending time with family and friends.
